Good morning LOBOS!!

Congratulations to our Cross Country Teams!!! Varsity Boys took 2nd Place and Varsity Girls took 3rd Place in our District Meet last week!! Both Teams are headed to REGIONALS!!! GOOD LUCK XC!!!

It's that time of year again!  Java Jive season! Do you have a hidden talent you would like to show off to the world? Are you a singer slash songwriter waiting to be discovered? Are you an author whose poetry never leaves your notes app? Do you love to have jam sessions with your family? Are you the funniest one in your friend group? Choir has just the thing for you! Come audition for Java Jive! We are accepting any auditions or submissions that might be highlighted in a Coffee House setting. This includes the playing of instruments, singing, poetry, stand-up comedy, etc. Auditions are next Wednesday after school on October 28th. The Sign-up Sheet can be found outside of the Choir room door in 1405 by the commons. The day of the event is November 13th. Auditions are open to anyone in our Lobo community, so that includes teachers and parents as well! Come share your talents, and feel free to contact Mr. Torres or Mrs. Loer with any questions.

ERAS Club members! Join us in the teaching theater after school on Wednesday, October 21st, for our ERAS Club meeting, where we will have a special guest speaker, Ms. Haleigh Thornley, teaching us about the importance of native pollinators, including bats!

Lobos! Are you ready for Langham's first ever Black Student Union? Well, we're ready for you! Our first meeting will be Tuesday, October 20 coming back from fall break! This is a great opportunity to be in a community of students who want to excel! If you have any questions, please talk to Dr. Crowson or Coach Thomas, for more information!

Girls basketball will be having tryouts after school on October 21st and 22nd from 2:45-4:30PM. An updated physical and all online forms must be completed in order to participate. If you are interested in trying out, please see Coach Walter, Coach Deans, or Coach Thomas.

Have you ever wanted to try something different? Perform in front of a crowd? Earn your PE credit while learning how to spin a flag, toss a rifle, dance, and be part of something bigger than yourself?

THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO TRY COLOR GUARD!

Langham Creek Color Guard is hosting Winter Guard Try-It-Outs soon and you are invited! November 2nd 5-8pm and November 5th 3:30-6:30pm. No experience needed, and NO COMMITMENT required just to try it out! Want a spot on the team? You'll need to attend BOTH days to be considered! Interested? Take the FIRST STEP and fill out the form on the flyers posted around the school or see Dr. G in room 1401 for more information!

Students - After you leave at the end of your day, you may not re-enter the building through any door except the front door.  You will only be allowed in if you have early release AND you have a pass for an after-school activity.  Please help keep us all safe by never opening a door for ANYONE.  Everyone must enter through the front.  If you are attending after school clubs or tutorials, you MUST be to your destination by 2:45 pm or the teacher will not allow you in!

Remember that electronic devices are to be put away in a bag for the day, this includes headphones and corded headphones.  There will be no warnings.  If a device is visible to us, we will confiscate it.
