Good morning LOBOS!!   

The Langham Creek varsity baseball team clinched a playoff berth with a 5-2 victory over Cy Lakes on Friday. This is the second straight playoff appearance for the Lobos and they will be in the playoffs in back-to-back years for the first time since 2009. Many players have had successful seasons this year and the Lobos appreciate the support from fellow students and faculty members. The Lobos will close out the district schedule with games vs. Cy Ranch this week, including at home this Friday. We'll see you at the park! Go Lobos! 

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION is now open! Details are posted on Schoology and the LCHS website. If you’re interested in taking an Original Credit class, be sure to make an appointment with your counselor, as registration closes on May 1st.

Students who received a conditional acceptance letter for next year’s Health Science Theory and Clinical course, all documents are due this Friday, April 24th. Failure to turn in these documents will result in your removal from next year’s course. Students who plan to be in either the Practicum CNA or Dental course next year, remember there are mandatory online meetings this week and next. CNA is April 21st and Dental is April 28th. See your conditional acceptance letter for the meeting links.”

Attention Students! Celebrate Earth Week with Trash Talkers!  

Join Trash Talkers in making a difference during Earth Week from April 20 to April 24 while earning service hours, including for NHS and SNHS! Each day has a fun and meaningful theme—get involved and help protect our planet: 

TODAY Monday is Meatless Monday: Skip the meat and try plant-based meals to reduce your environmental impact.

Tuesday is Plasticless Tuesday: Ditch plastic water bottles & other plastics and use reusable ones instead!

Submit each day's challenge up to 5 times before the deadline, Sunday, April 26. Access the Google form using the QR code on a flyer around the school or visiting tinyurl.com/earthweekchallenge2026. Let’s work together to keep our Earth clean and green!

Seniors - Please listen carefully to a couple of important announcements:

• Senior walk sign up is now open. Please check Schoology for date, time and sign up. Your elementary school is excited to have you back one last time. 

• Graduation will soon be here.  If you have any questions concerning graduation, please visit the Langham Creek website, make sure you are signed up on the Schoology page, visit the bulletin board outside the Assistant Principals’ office or come talk with Mr. Mendez. 

• Seniors,Cap and Gown Delivery will be Monday, May 11th during all Lunches.  

• Seniors just a reminder that Prom tickets are on sale for students and guests.  The last day to purchase them is April 24. Do not delay, there will not be any available tickets to purchase after 4/24. We look forward to your prom celebration. We will have great music, good food, and the best company,  the class of 2026!!! Tickets are $125 each.  

Now that we are in the last term of the school year, remember the same rules apply as they have all year.  All electronic devices must be turned off and, in your bag, out of sight.  You cannot wear anything on your head, and you must wear an ID at all times.  All bags must be clear if you are walking to your class, at all times of the day.  Non-clear bags must be in your locker or the AP office, no exceptions! Let's make this last term phenomenal by adhering to these guidelines.
