The Academic UIL Information meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 9th after school in Mrs. Ward's room - 2514. This meeting will give information about what we do in Ready Writing, Spelling, Literary Criticism, Social Studies AND our awesome new Speech & Debate Coach will be joining us with information about ALL of their categories!! We are super excited to tell you all about it. Don't forget - Wednesday, September 9th - Mrs. Ward's Room, 2514 after school. See you there!!!

Sophomores & Juniors… Do you strive to be a Leader or to learn more about leadership? Then Lone Star College has a program for you! Lone Star College Leadership High School! This is a leadership development and community program for sophomores and juniors seeking the confidence, skills and abilities essential to realizing their leadership potential. Students will meet monthly at Lone Star College to explore best leadership practices and engage in one-on-one discussions with community leaders. Applications are due September 17th. One recommendation letter is required. If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Nevarez or Ms. Skopal in the counselor’s office for more information.
Afterschool Buses – Need Badge to ride bus. The Bus doors close 7 minutes after the bell rings at the end of the day. No one is permitted on the bus once doors close.
Remember that electronic devices are to be put away in a bag for the day, this includes headphones and corded headphones. There will be no warnings. If a device is visible to us, we will confiscate it.
