Good morning LOBOS!!
Tomorrow your Lobo basketball teams begin district play! All teams will face Cy Springs, here at Langham Creek. Be sure to come out and support Lobo Hoops! Freshman A & B will play at 4:00, JV & Sophomore will play at 5:30, and the varsity game starts at 7:00! See you in the stands!
For final exams, the guidelines for Attendance are no different than any other day of the semester. All students are expected to attend every day, every period, unless there is a note or email from a parent. Being exempt from a final exam simply means you do not have to take the final exam. Students will not lose their exemption if they are absent for their final exam. Students will not be allowed to enter the school once they leave, just like every other day. Any student who leaves will need to be accompanied by a parent in order to return to school OR to ride the bus.
Congratulations to the Langham Creek Robotics team for winning their latest tournament. This Saturday, the Lobos faced over 30 other teams. Number 4-ranked “Lobos Rojos” finished the night with 5 wins and 1 loss, while Team “Chaos” finished 14th overall with 4 wins and 2 losses. All five robots advanced to the playoffs and ended the final match with a final score of 91-0- making them TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS for the first time this season! The team also received the VEX Amaze Award for the best individual robot design, effective programming, & consistent high scores throughout the night. Job well done, Lobos! Their next event will be January 17th at the Berry Center.
