Good morning LOBOS!!   

"It's that time of year again!  Java Jive season! We know, it's so early this year. Do you have a hidden talent you would like to show off to the world? Are you a singer slash songwriter waiting to be discovered? Are you an author whose poetry never leaves your notes app? Do you love to have jam sessions with your family? Are you the funniest one in your friend group? Choir has just the thing for you! Come audition for Java Jive! We are accepting any auditions or submissions that might be highlighted in a Coffee House setting. This includes the playing of instruments, singing, poetry, stand-up comedy, etc. Auditions are next Wednesday after school on October 29th. The Sign up Sheet can found outside of the Choir room door in 1405 by the commons. The day of the event is November 13th. Auditions are open to anyone in our Lobo community, so that includes teachers and parents as well! Come share your talents, and feel free to contact Mr. Torres or Mrs. Loer with any questions."

 

Big news from the Speech & Debate team! Our top Lincoln-Douglas debater won the entire Stratford HS debate tournament, starting the season on fire! The team was also honored with the National Speech & Debate Association’s 100 Club Award for the 3rd year in a row, recognizing the top 100 programs in the country! Want to join our winning tradition? Stop by room 1914 every Wednesday to join the team!”

 

If you are a TSA member or still planning to join, meet us this Wednesday in the teaching theater to learn about TSA competitions, and what you need to do now to prepare. See you Wednesday, October 22nd, in the teaching theater immediately after school





HOSA will be sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, October 27th. Students must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and have a signed permission form from their parent. Permission forms may be picked up during lunches this week. The sign form will need to be returned during lunches to schedule your donation time. Help save a life by donating!”


Freshman Girls - If you are interested in trying out for the Girls Basketball Team, please see Coach Walter.  Tryouts are on Wed Oct 22nd after school from 2:45-4:15. You must have a current physical on file and be passing all of your classes.


Boys Basketball tryouts will be Wednesday October 29th at 6:00 am before school in the Performance Gym. In order to tryout, students must have a physical on file with the trainers and have all online physical paperwork completed before the start of tryouts. Check in for the tryouts will start at 5:45 am and students will enter through the gym foyer. If you have any questions, please see Coach Symmank as soon as possible. 








Reminder STUDENTS, if you are caught opening an outside door for ANYONE you will be suspended. 


Students, remember to be in dress code every day, House slippers are not allowed to be worn at school. Wear your ID badge all day, in the hallways, in the lunchroom, and throughout all your classes.

Tomorrow, May 20, 2025,  seniors that are exempting every final will turn in your Chromebook and charger during English class.  Seniors that are taking finals will turn in Chromebook and charger after you have completed your exam(s).   All technology should be turned in no later than noon on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
