Good morning LOBOS!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to the National English Honor Society meeting. Even though our technology didn't work, it was still so fun to see so many people there. If you are still interested in NEHS but weren't able to make it to the meeting, look for the signs around school for information on how to keep in touch. The application for membership is due by September 5th at 11:59 pm. It's going to be an amazing year Lobos!
Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale now in School Cash! The dance is on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 7 -10 pm. Tickets are $25. The theme this year is: A Night in Rio!

Volleyball plays at home today against Katy Taylor. Games are at 4:30 and 5:30. Tomorrow is our first Varsity Football Game. LCHS is playing Katy Paetow at the Berry Center. Kick off is at 6pm.

Then Lone Star College has a program for you!
Lone Star College Leadership High School!!!
This is a leadership development and community program for sophomores and juniors seeking the confidence, skills and abilities essential to realizing their leadership potential. Students will meet monthly at Lone Star College to explore best leadership practices and engage in one on one discussions with community leaders. Applications are due September 19th. One recommendation letter is required. If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs.Nevarez or Ms. Skopal in the counselor’s office for more information.
