CONGRATULATIONS to the Langham Creek Robotics team for their performance at the district tournament!  Last week, the Lobos ranked #3 overall and went undefeated with 6 wins. Four other teams advanced far to the playoff rounds, with LC Rampage defeating the #2 seed and winning the title of district champions.

Great job, Lobos on a great season!  The team will advance to the Texas state championships later this month.”


No date on Valentine's Day? Well, we have the perfect thing to make up for it! Future Business Leaders of America and the National Art Honor Society are having a Valentine's social on Thursday, February 13th, from 2:50 - 4:00 PM in the Teaching Theater. Congratulations Bailadora's on a successful first competition this season with Ascension at  Cypress Creek! They received the following awards: 

- 1st Runner up - Onyx Elite

- 2nd Runner up - Social Officers

- 1st in class Dance Officers in Contemporary, Hip Hop, Open, and Jazz 

- 1st in class Team in Contemporary, Novelty, Hip Hop, & Pom 

- Overall Grand Champion Officers

Are you interested in becoming a Bailadora? There is a required audition meeting on February 25th at 6PM in the LCHS auditorium and you must have a parent or guardian present for the meeting. You will receive your audition packet, and auditions will be held March 3rd through 6th.


All students interested in taking Dual Credit Classes next school year, must attend the Dual Credit Registration meeting being held on Tuesday, February 11th in the Auditorium.

 Current 10th and 11th grade students will attend the registration meeting at 6pm.

Current 9th grade students will attend the registration meeting at 7:30pm.

 Information is on the TV’s around campus. Please know that this meeting is mandatory for ALL students interested in taking Dual Credit during the 2025-26 School year.

If you are looking for some Valentine goodies, visit VITAL in the West wing hallway during lunches on February, 11th, and 13th. They have small candy bouquets for $5, large bouquets for $10, flower lollipops, hairbows and more. Cash and card payments are accepted. Go visit their table and say hi.


“It’s that time of the year again! Penny Wars!! Look for a colorful decorated bottle that says Outreach Vietnam in your 2nd period class. You can bring cash or coins; these proceeds will go to kids in need of an education in Vietnam, specifically to kids at the Anh Linh School. The class with the most proceeds by the end of February will receive a donut party!”

 Good morning, Lobos! Your Work Base Learning Team is having a Valentines Day sale on February 13th in the front foyer across from the attendance office. They will have Jars filled with candy, candy bouquets and vases. Plus, their essential goodies. They are only taking Cash so come and support the Life Skills program and buy something for your sweetheart!

Var Baseball has a scrimmage at Katy Taylor.  Games start at 4pm.

Boy’s Golf is at Blackhorse GC. Tee off is at 8am

Boys’ Soccer at Cy Ranch.  Game times are 430, 545 and 730pm

Girl’s Soccer is hosting Cy Ranch.  Game times are at 530 and 715pm.

Softball has their opening game tonight here at LCHS.  Games are at 430 and 6pm.


Langham Creek is Anti-Bullying  


There is no one in your school who deserves to be bullied. No one really ever “asks for it.” Those students who bully usually look for others whom the bully thinks is “different” in some way. Being “different” is never a reason to be bullied.
