Langham Creek is Anti-Bullying
Even if you don’t get along with someone, it is important to be friendly and remember that everyone has feelings.
Veterans Day
Teachers and students, we have one final announcement.
Today, November 11th we celebrate Veterans Day. It is the day we honor the men and women who have served in our armed forces. Across the world, other countries remember those who died on Remembrance Day.
At 11 o’clock on November 11, 1918 WWI came to an end. It was known as the War to End All Wars, and November 11th has since been known as Armistice Day. It has become a day dedicated to the cause of world peace.
In 1947, the United States began celebrating all veterans for their service to the United States and world peace on Armistice Day. This is an important distinction in the US that we remember and recognize all who served. In 1954, Congress replaced Armistice with Veterans and it has been known as Veterans Day ever since.
Langham Creek has several veterans and today we honor and salute them for their service to our country.

In my second deployment, my battalion conducted combat ground operations against anti-coalition forces in the city of Fallujah, primarily against Al-Qaeda groups while also coordinating intelligence-driven operations with Iraqi security forces. During my time in Fallujah, I participated as a member of a military transitional team training and advising Iraqi Army units.
