Tomorrow is the last day of Red Ribbon Week and the Langham Creek PALS want to say THANK YOU to everyone for participating and supporting healthy, drug free lifestyles.  We hope you have really thought about the meaning of this years theme “LIFE IS A MOVIE, FILM DRUG FREE” and how making healthy choices will help you achieve your goals in life.  We want the best for our Lobos and can’t wait to see what your future holds.  You play the Leading role in your own personal story!  Walk the red carpet with your head held high, knowing you are The star of your own show!

 I know you've been waiting on pins and needles for this announcement, and it's finally here!  It's time to JOIN National English Honor Society at our second meeting on Tuesday, October 29 after school in Mrs. Ward's room, room 2407 as we write spooky stories and go over important information such as scholarship and hour opportunities, important dates and deadlines, and membership information. We hope to see you there!

(FBLA) FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA Attention Lobos! Don’t have any plans for Halloween? Well you're in luck! Future Business Leaders of America is having a Halloween Social on October 31st, next Thursday. The social will be held in the teaching theater from 2:50 PM to 4:00 PM and will be filled with pizza and spook-tacular games! Make sure to RSVP through the sign up genius on our remind and instagram page by October 29th! Non-members are invited as well! Be there or beware


Hey Lobos. It’s robot fighting time! Langham Creek Robotics is back for another season- and the prizes & stakes are higher than ever before! 4 robots will go head-to-head in STEM-based tournaments to score the most points at the end of multiple rounds. The Vex Robotics season begins this Saturday at Cy-Springs.  Show your support for the red & black.

"Hey Lobos! Did you know that the Zoology Club has a meeting on Halloween? To celebrate Halloween, we are having a Halloween party! There will be games, candy, music, and fun! It is for anyone and feel free to bring a friend, but you must sign up by using the QR code on the flyers by Monday, October 28.   Sign up and join us on October 31st, in room 1606 from 2:50-4:00!   1. It’s not too late, get your tickets now for Almost, Maine by John Cariani. This bittersweet show focuses on the many aspects of LOVE! From the awkward newness of a first love, to the anger and hurt of Love that is lost and everything in between. Shows are October 24, 25, and 26 at 7:00 PM and October 27 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now! Scan the QR code on any poster around the building and choose your seat for this magical production. General admission is $10 with Preferred Seating admission at $15. Students get in for only $5. And remember, faculty and staff admission is FREE! See you at the show!

 2. Next up from LCHS Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Auditions for this January show will be held Oct. 29, 30 at 3:00 PM in Room 1056 (Theatre Blackbox). You need to prepare a minimum of 16 bars from a Musical Theatre number. This is about 1 min of a song! We want to see your talent, theatre student or not! Callbacks to be held Oct. 31 at 3:00 PM. You do not need to audition both days.

 3. The Ducks are coming. The Second Annual Cancer is Quack Duck donation drive is happening next week! Ducks will be on sale during lunches beginning Monday, October 28 – November 1. Proceeds from Cancer is Quack go to a cancer research charity. Ducks will be $2 each and will again have the infamous match game! 




Attention all 11th and 12th grade students we have several Universities hosting information sessions for students on campus this week... if you are interested in learning more or have questions about applications, please plan to attend.

Tomorrow, May 20, 2025,  seniors that are exempting every final will turn in your Chromebook and charger during English class.  Seniors that are taking finals will turn in Chromebook and charger after you have completed your exam(s).   All technology should be turned in no later than noon on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Fees will be assessed for any missing and/or damaged technology SENIOR BREAKFAST is MAY 29,2025!!!!!
