Hey everyone! Did you know it's autism awareness month? Every day we’re sharing with you a fun fact about autism to celebrate, courtesy of the Neurodiversity Unification Club! Today we’d like you to know that autism is a spectrum; no two people have the same symptoms, and can vary from person to person. Thanks for listening in on today’s fun fact!


Here is some exciting news!

Nico Earl, also known as Chef Nico, made a name for himself at the regional competition earlier this year so much so that he placed 2nd at the state level FCCLA competition this past weekend. Out of twenty-five students, with only two being able to advance to nationals, he showed up and showed out as he was the only student representing Cy-Fair Culinary in his division. He has now qualified and will be competing at nationals in Seattle, Washington this summer.

Chess Club is back!!! After a long break we will resume chess club meetings in Coach Story’s room, 2201, every Tuesday after school. If you are interested in learning chess or if you are already a chess pro, come sit down for a game, or two, every Tuesday in Coach Story’s room 2201. All are welcome and bringing friends is encouraged”

·        If you didn't pay your Senior Fee, you will need to purchase an individual ticket for yourself through School Cash.   

·        If you are bringing a guest, you will have to pay for your guest through School Cash.

Class Election Announcement

It is time to elect the class officers for the 2024-25 school year.

If you are interested in running for your class officer position, election rules and applications can be picked up in the Assistant Principals’ office on April 12th & 15th. All applications must be returned to the Assistant principals’ office by April 16th. Voting for all candidates will take place April 24th & 25th in the commons during lunch.

  Lobos, it’s homecoming week! Let’s get our spirit on! Tomorrow’s dress up theme is Twin Day! So choose a friend to match with all day. Also, it’s not too late to go to your school cash account and purchase your homecoming dance tickets for next Saturday! Tickets are $25, but they’ll only be on sale until Thursday, October 5th.  Guest tickets are also available through school cash for the same price. Don’t miss out! Lobos, don’t forget that our Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally are this Wednesday. Cars and floats will be rolling at 5:45p! The pep rally will be in Lobo Stadium immediately following the parade. Let’s fill the stands! LOBOS!! If you pre-ordered your Homecoming t-shirt, pick up is today and tomorrow during all lunches. Please stop by the table in the commons to get your shirt!   Attention students and staff, today is picture day! Students will be taking their yearbook pictures in the multi-purpose gym through their science classes.  Staff you may take our picture at any time throughout the day. Remember, this is our 40th anniversary and we’re encouraging all staff to be in the year book!  Hey Lobos, come out and cheer on your Varsity Football Team against Cy Ridge, this Friday at 7pm at Pridgeon Stadium. Make sure to wear your Western Gear so we can Round Up the Rams! Varsity football tickets will be for sale during all lunches on Friday, September 8th.   Teachers, due to the large response for  the anti-victimization presentation, we are holding 2 sessions. Today is the 1st session. Only students in 1st floor classrooms, the portables and the gyms will attend today. Students MUST have a pass to attend. At this time please release those students on the 1st floor with passes to the auditorium.  Lobos, it’s just a couple of days to the big game on Friday. Remember, you can purchase a ticket by using the ticket sales QR code. Tomorrow’s dress up theme is biker vs surfer. ●      Dress as a biker or surfer (think Teen Beach Movie vibes) And a reminder, tomorrow is the last day to purchase tickets for the Homecoming Dance on Saturday.
