Friday, March 1st

Today marks the beginning of a month-long celebration of a unique type of healthcare professional, the Athletic Trainer. Often called the "Swiss Army Knife" of medicine, Athletic Trainers can evaluate injuries as well as treat and rehabilitate those injuries.  Athletic Trainers are also first responders who attend to emergencies on and off the field of play at our athletic events.

Here at Langham Creek, we are fortunate to have five Athletic Trainers working on our campus. In the athletic department, taking care of our athletes are Head Athletic Trainer Eric Laughlin (Lof - Lyn) along with Assistant Athletic Trainers Alaysia (Uh-l-Asia) Hunter and Evelyn Cantu.  In our Health Science Department we have Joseph Hebert and Tish Hooper helping to educate those students interested in pursuing a healthcare career.

Please take a moment to thank these incredible healthcare professionals.  Happy National Athletic Trainer Month to these special individuals.
