What’s up lobos? The Neurodiversity Unification Club (pronounced knuck) is having their first meeting of 2024! Our meeting this month will be covering Dyslexia & its various subtypes. We’re excited to have everyone back this Wednesday, February 14th in Mr. Bunin’s classroom, 2308. There will be snacks, so bring your friends! If you can’t make it to this meeting, be sure to join our remind to be notified of future meetings by texting @lchsnuc to 81010. We hope to see you here!  Announcements for NUC Tuesday through Wednesday:

 Students - If you would like to take an AP exam this May and have not yet registered, registration for Spring Semester courses is open now through February 21st.   There will be an additional late fee if you are registering for a yearlong course exam.  Don’t delay; this is your last opportunity to register for 2024 AP testing.

Juniors -  If you are interested in having early release or late arrival in your schedule next year, or you are using it as an alternate to your course selection, please be sure to complete an application and submit it by February 15th.  These applications, as well as the Student Assistant applications, are available in the Counseling Office and need to be returned to the Counseling Office by the deadline. If you have questions, please come in and ask.


The Outreach Vietnam’s Penny Wars is back again. All donations will be dedicated to funding the Anh Linh School, which provides free education and housing to underprivileged children in Vietnam.  Each 2nd Period class has a Penny Wars donation bottle and will compete to see which class can raise the most money. The competition runs through the month of February, and the class who donates the most will win a donut party. Donate your spare change now and get your class to a quick lead!(End date 2/29)

 

Listless Creations - A Vital Enterprise - will be selling Valentine’s goodies like Large Paper Candy Bouquets for $8 and Small ones for $4. Come grab one or perhaps you want a 2 for $1 Flower Lollipop instead. They will be set up in the West wing hallway where exemption cards have been passed out during all lunches for you to visit on, 2/13 and 2/14. Cash is preferred but they plan to accept schoolcash as well.”


Lobo Nation, tonight is the final district home game for you Lobo Boys Basketball Program! Tonight, we will play Cy Falls! The Freshman A & B will start at 4:00, the JV & Sophomore games will start at 5:30 and the Varsity game will tip off at 7:00! Tonight is also our Staff Appreciation Game. We look forward to recognizing all our Lobo Staff before the Varsity game! Be sure to come out and support Lobo Hoops! See you in the stands!
