The Langham Creek Speech & Debate Team traveled to the University of California - Berkeley from February 16th - 20th and continued our tradition of success. Out of 70+ teams the LCHS policy debate team of Riley Emerson and Laine Yates advanced to the top 16 overall. Laine also took home the 9th place speaker award from a group of more than 140 competitors. Our speech team had a strong showing with Spencer Benton leading the pack with two 2nd place finishes in the preliminary rounds. Congrats Lobos!"

 Today we are hosting our Spring College Fair during 4th and 5th period / ALL Lunches. We have 16 colleges available to learn more about… stop by the Teaching Theater to learn more!

 

Lobos! Are you wanting to audition to become a member of award winning Bailadoras dance team? Come to the interest meeting on Tuesday, February the 27th at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Anyone interested must bring a parent or guardian. Audition packets will be passed out at the meeting. See you there!

Varsity Boys and Girls Track will be competing in the CFISD Invitation today at Cy Ridge HS.  Go and cheer them on!


Lobo Nation, tonight your varsity boys basketball team will face College Park in the Area Round of the UIL Playoffs! The game will be played at The Woodlands High School and start at 7:00! We need all of Lobo Nation to pack the stands and support Lobo Hoops! See you in the stands!

 The Outreach Vietnam’s Penny Wars is back again. All donations will be dedicated to funding the Anh Linh School, which provides free education and housing to underprivileged children in Vietnam.  Each 2nd Period class has a Penny Wars donation bottle and will compete to see which class can raise the most money. The competition runs through the month of February, and the class who donates the most will win a donut party. Donate your spare change now and get your class to a quick lead!(End date 2/29)
