Good morning Lobos and Happy HALLOWEEN!!
This is your reminder that our Academic UIL English meetings are kicking off this week. We will have Spelling and Lit Crit meetings TODAY after school in Mrs. Ward's room, 2607. Tomorrow -- that's Wednesday November 1st -- we will have our First Ready Writing Meeting after school in Mrs. Ward's room 2607. This is our first official meeting for Literary Criticism, so if you're interested and haven't had the chance to look into it, today is the perfect day - Come see what it's all about! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Congratulations to our Lady Lobo Volleyball team in their win against Klein Collins last night. They are now the bi-district champion. Go Lobos!
The Computer Science Club will be meeting today after school in room 1706.
Lobos, Fall finals begin in 8 weeks. Don’t get in the exemption card handout line if you haven’t paid your fine! Check your school cash account for any required fees. If you have questions about your required fees, please talk to your teacher or your club sponsor.
Students, this is an important reminder. If you are attending any Langham events as a spectator, like a concert, play or a sports event, you must be picked up within 20 minutes after the event is over. If you are picked up any later, you will not be allowed to attend any more events for the rest of the year. You also must have your student ID and be able to provide it if requested.
Lobos, supporting the Community is our priority. The Life Skills VITAL 18+ program is helping to support our community sponsors from the Cy Hope Hope Chest. Cy Hope provides many needed services for students in the Cypress Fairbanks district. The new Hope Chest location in Katy is in need of clothing donations and toys for the upcoming holiday season.
Students and staff can bring their gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, and housewares to the VITAL classroom in 1301 now through November 15th.
We are also accepting gently used and new toys for the Holiday drive, supporting our community's needy children. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ms. McDonnell in room 1301.
