 Hey Langham, come and support your varsity football team! They face off against The Bridgeland Bears at the Berry Center this evening.  Kick off is at 6:30pm.  Make sure to wear black so we can Black out the Bears.  Tickets will be sold during all lunches today. We take Debit, Credit, Apple and Google Pay. No CASH allowed.


Seniors, it is time to nominate your favorite classmates for Homecoming court. The link is available on the Class of 2024 Schoology page.  Only Langham Creek seniors may submit a nomination.  Nominations close at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25.  


Students, are you ready for a night in Pandora? If so, go to your school cash account and purchase your homecoming dance tickets for your October 7th Homecoming Dance.  Tickets are on sale now thru 10/5 for $25.00. Guest tickets are also available through school cash for the same price.


Lobos, are you ready to spark your curiosity? Join Science Olympiad and ignite your passion for discovery and science. The interest meeting is today, in the teaching theater after school. We have fun activities planned for y'all. see you there!

Calling all Juniors and Seniors. Our Fall Mini College Fair is being held today, in the Teaching Theater, during all lunches. We will have several colleges on campus for you to learn more about their programs and to ask for tips on applications. Feel free to stop by the teaching theater during lunches.



Attention students in grades 10th thru 12th. If you are interested in serving on the Superintendent’s Student Leadership Committee, applications are now being accepted. The students selected are the ambassadors or “Faces of CFISD”. PArticipants will have the opportunity to learn about the district’s academic and operational goals to understand better the internal operations at both the district and campus levels. Expectations for membership include attending meetings 6 to 8 times a year, attending a minimum of 2 board meetings and participating in district service activities, such as the Superintendent’s Fun Run.

Students, on October 4th, the counselors will be conducting an Anti-victimization presentation educating students on developing healthy relationships and behaviors that can improve your overall health with topics such as:  the prevention of child abuse, family violence, dating violence, and sex/human trafficking. 

Your parent must Opt-In for you to participate.  You will be given the Opt-In or Out form through your English class.  Forms are due back to your English teacher no later than September 28th.  The form can also be found in your Schoology Class Group.



Lobos, do you strive to be a Leader?  Lone Star College offers Leadership High School.  This is a dynamic leadership development and community awareness program for sophomore and juniors seeking the confidence, skills and abilities essential to realizing your leadership potential.  Students will meet monthly at Lone Star College to explore best leadership practices and engage in one on one discussions with community leaders.  Applications are due tomorrow!  If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Davis or Mrs. Twidell in the counselor’s office for more information.
