Wednesday, January 17th

The wrestling team would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our team for our senior night in the auditorium on the stage. Both the boys and girls team came out with a win against Bridgeland. But a special thank you to Mr. Brock and the theater department that allowed us to use their space. The tech theater students who ran the lights, sound, backstage coordination and everything else, y'all were amazing! Y'all allowed our kids an unforgettable experience and we thank you!

Over the weekend the Langham Creek Speech & Debate Team competed at the Mayde Creek HS tournament and came away with some great wins. In policy debate, our first-year team emerged from the preliminary rounds in the varsity division undefeated and the tournament’s #1 seed. We eventually lost in the semi-finals and placed third overall. In current event speaking LCHS took home 1st place overall, fully qualifying our Lobo speaker to the state championship. Congrats Lobos! If you would like to join the speech & debate team stop by room 1914 or ask any debate team member for more info. Thanks!

Hello Lobos!

We want to take an opportunity to recognize our Lobo teachers who go above and beyond in the classroom. Students are encouraged to recognize educators from any content area or subject. When nominating a teacher, we ask that you consider the following questions:

  • What makes this educator stand out in your mind?

  • How have they shown you they care about your future?

  • What are the various ways they have supported you as a student this year?

Each month the nominated educators will receive a certificate and be recognized for their dedication!

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Brynae Love - Young at Brynae.loveyoung@cfisd.net

 Thank you!!!
