Friday, January 19th

Attention Juniors and Seniors!

Have you heard about Pass/Fail courses?

Are you in a class that sparks your interest but are worried about its effect on your GPA and Class Rank?

Ask your teacher if Pass/Fail is an option for their course.

If so, submit a request for an application in your Pass/Fail class.

Applications are due to the counseling office by January 23rd by 3:00PM.

Dr. Crowson will have a meeting on Thursday and Friday in Room 1706 after school (2:40pm - 3:15pm) to discuss the dual credit computer science course offered for next year. During this session, he will provide in-depth insights into the course offering and discuss important details that will be pertinent to your academic journey.  Your presence at this meeting is highly encouraged, as it will be an excellent opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the dual credit computer science course.

Lobos,Did you know that there are more than 50,000 preschool-aged children who are unsure of their next meal?  Our FCCLA club wants to help these children.   Partnering with Meals on Wheels we are hosting a Cereal drive. We would love for you to donate boxes of cereal to help with this cause. Drop off locations are in rooms 1213, 1903, 2209, 2409, 2303 and 2514 or any other classroom where there is a donation box located. Please bring all cereal boxes by Friday the 19th.

We need YOU in the fight to end childhood hunger!

Hello Lobos!

We want to take an opportunity to recognize our Lobo teachers who go above and beyond in the classroom. Students are encouraged to recognize educators from any content area or subject. When nominating a teacher, we ask that you consider the following questions:

  • What makes this educator stand out in your mind?

  • How have they shown you they care about your future?

  • What are the various ways they have supported you as a student this year?

Each month the nominated educators will receive a certificate and be recognized for their dedication!

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Brynae Love - Young at Brynae.loveyoung@cfisd.net

 Thank you!!!
